This local business has consolidated the Amite store (now closed). The result is a thriving hardware and farm supply store. They recently built a much larger display area and updated to computerized inventory and checkout. The result is a nice store with a lot of inventory - and growing.
This place is just a few miles from my farm, but I will make the trip to Ponchatoula and back before I ever step in here again
